Praying for the United Methodist General Conference, April 23 - May 4 - Part Two

United Methodist delegates will be gathering in Charlotte, North Carolina, for 12 days of holy conferencing.

Over 1,100 petitions are coming to the General Conference. Some of those petitions may impact our SUM community, including the removal of exclusionary language in the Book of Discipline regarding human sexuality (which impacts marriage and ordination), the election of new Bishops, and the adoption of the Methodist Social Principles. This is the first General Conference held since 2016, and the schedule will be even more packed than it normally is.

Join us in prayer for the General Conference, our NYAC delegates to the General Conference, and the NYAC General Conference Worship team.

Are you confused about how all the pieces fit together? Look at the graphic here.
