Fellowship is at the heart of who we are. It begins after each service with refreshments and conversation and continues throughout the year. You are welcome here.

  • SUM Food and Fellowship

    Food & Fellowship

SUM Food & Fellowship is a ministry gathering and grace over a meal. Four times over eight months, six to eight people will get together around the table to laugh, tell stories, and get to know each other. The host prepares the main dish and the guests bring an appetizer, side dish, and dessert. Each household will host once and be a guest at others three times. Meeting at a restaurant is also an option. If you would like to join the fun but cannot make the commitment to four dinners, you can be on the substitute list. When a guest is unable to attend, the host will contact a member on the sub list. This is a great way to get to know each other - meet new people and reconnect with those you know – in a comfortable, welcoming setting. There is room at the table for everyone - you can join as a single or a couple, you can join with a friend, you can invite your neighbors. Truly, every gathering is an enjoyable experience of fellowship!

  • Susanna Circle

Usually (but not always) meets at 6:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month. This circle enjoys guest speakers as well as field trips and special activities, some during the Tuesday meetings and some on Saturdays. A long list of worthy causes is supported in a variety of ways, including the Methodist Munch Super Bowl snack sale.

  • Men's Book Club

Ever read a great, thought-provoking book and wish you had a bunch of friends who had just finished the same book? Well, join the Men’s Book Club. These gentlemen, from inside and outside the church membership, read seven or eight books a year. They gather on Zoom at the end of each book for an hour and half to share reactions and explore themes. The group then votes on selecting the next book, which could be fiction or non-fiction. Recent nominees include such varied books as Jon Meacham’s The Soul of America, Georgia Hunter’s novel We Were the Lucky Ones, It Can’t Happen Here by Sinclair Lewis and The Death and Life of the Great Lakes by Dan Egan.
